Church of the Epiphany sits on a 10-acre site in Plymouth, Minnesota, less than 30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. The building features a sanctuary with a contemporary layout, a fellowship hall, large kitchen, classroom and office space. A major renovation of the narthex, fellowship hall, kitchen, and library was completed in 2016.
The grounds include an outdoor labyrinth. The labyrinth, which is open for use as a prayer or meditation tool, was construction by a parishioner as an Eagle Scout project, with landscaping by a second community member. A Memorial Garden, tranquil space featuring a variety of perennial plantings and overlooked by two blooming magnolia trees, is adjacent to the labyrinth.
Epiphany’s grounds are also home to a new playground and the church’s Giving Garden, a hands-on outreach ministry. Whether occupied by the youth group during a fundraising carwash, or hosting a lunchtime food truck for nearby office workers, Epiphany’s outdoor spaces represent an important point of connection between the church family and the community at large.
