The Church of the Epiphany uses the Episcopal Rite II service from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer at both 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. During the summer, we have one service at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday. We are a Eucharist-every-Sunday congregation; the services are built on tradition and are open to occasional alternative liturgies. Epiphany holds a healing prayer after each service in the front of the church near the altar every Sunday. Preparations for both Easter and Christmas include additional services.
Music permeates most worship services and special programs. Hymns are accompanied by organ or piano at the 8:00 a.m. service. At the 10:00 a.m. service, the organ, piano and adult choir provide musical support for hymns as well as anthems in a variety of styles. Our adult and children’s handbell and handchime choirs and other community musical groups supplement Epiphany’s rich music culture.
